She was predeceased by: her father John B. Dixon Jr.; and her brother Jake Dixon. She is survived by: her pet Jack; her siblings, Colleen Carr, Regis Dixon, Jane Dixon Miller, Mark Dixon, Julie Cormack and Rita Basista; her children, Kristine Callahan, Lauren Burton and Timothy Burton; her grandchildren, Abbie Callahan and Evan Callahan; her pets, Sadie, Willow, Frankie and Remy; and her mother Lillian Dixon.
Surprising everyone who knew her, she eventually retired from CSU during the COVID pandemic.
