With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cindy Sue Abbey of Fort Collins, Colorado, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orland Abbey and Darlene Abbey; her brother Jon Abbey; and her great grandchild John Luna. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Pickett (Seth) of Fort Collins, CO and Danyel Rigdon (Jason) of Freeburg, IL; her grandchildren, Hannah, Taylor, Allyssa, Trent, Sloan and Mavis; her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Lillian; and her siblings, Larry Abbey (Cammy) of Commerce City, CO and Orlene Van Noort (Allen) of Hawarden, IA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Centerpoint Church (400 10th St, Hawarden, IA 51023). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Grace Hill Cemetery.
