He is survived by: his aunt Bina; his siblings, Carl Barks, Clara Wilkins and Nicki Barks of Delta; his sons, Gene Tobin (Karen) and Tommy Tobin (Shauna) of South Dakota; his grandchildren, Ashley Warnicki (Jon), Dalton Nielsen, Austin Nielsen, Justice Tobin, Madison Tobin, Reece Frye, Jeremiah Frye and Nicholas Frye; his great grandchild Oliver Warnicki Long; his significant other Doris Miller of Florence; his stepsons, Stephen Miller (Stephanie) of Florence, Aaron and Brian Miller (Linda Baker) of Aurora; his grandchildren, Jeremy Miller (Cheryl), Colton Miller (Kaitlynn), Dylan Miller, Megan Evans (Ty), Ashley Selvage (Zane Groom) and Wyatt Miller; and his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Greyson, Cora Miller and Lily Evans.
