With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita DeRego of Florence, Colorado, born in Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on September 18, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Rita departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rita may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rita leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Quigley. She is survived by: her father William Quigley; her husband Pete DeRego; and her stepmother Dina Quigley. She is also survived by her family and friends.
