He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Garza and Antonia Garza; his wife Rosann; his children, Barbara and Ronald; his granddaughter Kasandra; and his brothers, Martin, Manuel and Oscar.
He is survived by: his children, Lionel Jr. (Mary), Matthew (Amanda), Julian (Shauntina) and Betty Anne (Danny); and his siblings, Olivia, Noe, Ramiro, Stella and Hilda. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
