He was predeceased by: his parents, Lazaro Antuna and Rosa Antuna (Lugo); his sons, J. Anthony and David Lawrence; and his siblings, Gabino Antuna, Cora Sanchez, Pete Antuna, Lazaro Antuna, Guadalupe Antuna and Hope Marquez.
He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Antuna; and his siblings, Bessie Lezama, Rosemary Compos (Steve) and Salvador Antuna (Beverly). He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in Joe Antuna's name can be made to Lighthouse Family Mortuary to contribute to the Lighthouse Family Fund to assist future families.
