He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Gurule and Jaunita Gurule; and his siblings, Nazario Gurule, Celia Montoya, Juanita L. Flores and Lucinda Gurule.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Danny Gurule and Bobbi Garza-Espinoza; his son Delray Garza; his former wife Mary Alice; and his children, Kelly Duran (Brent), Anthony "Tony" Gurule (Cindy), Kathy Gurule (Mike Sheetz) and Donna Valencia (Rick). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
