He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Walter Paukert and Esther Emaline Starks; his former wife Joanne Bell; his children, Gary (Barb) of Alberta and Anne of Lafayette, CO; his wife Karen Sandvold of Boulder, CO; his pet Eli; his son Steve (Marta) of Duncombe, IA; and his granddaughters, Katherine, Brenna, Sarah, Lauren and Emersen. He was also cherished by his kids baseball teams, watched his granddaughters.
