She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Stanko; her children, Laura Stanko Joy, Richard Stanko and Lisa Stanko; and her mother Mary Cecilia Korun.
She is survived by: her brother Frank Donald Korun; her daughters, Suzette Compton (Jerry) and Diane Stanko (Marty Martinez); her grandchildren, Vikki Connor (Brian), Darren Compton, Neil Compton, Sarah Joy, Emily Joy and Heather Joy; her cousin Blaž Stiplovšek; her great grandchildren, Dillon, Devon (Breanne), Brandon, Aiden, Logan, Kieran, Zachary, Joe, Kailey and Shelby; and her great great grandchildren, Ben and Ethan. She is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church (307 E Mesa Ave, Pueblo, CO 81006, USA). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
