She was predeceased by: her parents, Tsurujiro Saito and Haru Saito; and her son-in-law David Garfield. She is survived by: her husband Bob Sparks; and her children, Tad Sparks (Gail), Nina Garfield and Tasha Sparks. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
