Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Tim Thornton in Englewood, Colorado, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away at the age of 67, on April 4, 2022. He was predeceased by: his brother Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his son Jimmy; his sister Megan Thornton Lyle of Moab, UT; his siblings-in-law, Mary Thornton of Littleton and Joe Long of Columbia; his nephews, Sean Thornton, Connor Thornton and Peter Gagnon; and also Lindsey.

“Mr. Thornton was my Honors English teacher my freshman year at Aurora Central High School (1988-89) and then my Debate teacher in my senior year. I remember well how he challenged and tested us in Honors English, but he cared and helped us all grow, so I was delighted to have him as one of my teachers again a few years later. He is one of a handful of my teachers that I still remember distinctly 3+ decades later. My sympathies are with his family.”
