She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Donald Wicker and Virginia Edens. She is survived by: her husband Bob Shalvey; her children, Kirk Shalvey (Bobby) and Sarah Barnes (Daniel); her grandchildren, Joseph and Lennon Barnes; and her sister Molly Churchill (Perry). She is also survived by 4 nephews and 1 niece.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Society, an extremely cherished organization to the Shalvey and Barnes family.
