Vince Massey lit a candle

“In loving memory of Lou A. Gherardini, May your heart and soul find peace and comfort. I will always remember Lou. He was one of the kindest souls I have ever met. He truly cared about other people. Lou was always himself. He did not put on airs or try to be someone he was not. Lou was Lou...plain and simple. A beautiful human who truly impacted my life. I will never forget him. My prayers and thoughts to his family. Vince Massey”

“I will always cherish the memories and adventures traveling from our homes to Mullen and our creative dialogues when Brother Adrian welcomed us into the fold, often a bit tardy. Gone far too soon my friend. I am sorry for your family and know you are deeply loved.”

Greg Cosh wrote a sympathy message

“Mr. Gherardini was my world and American history teacher at Mullen (Class of 85).. He was an extraordinarily intelligent, witty, and inspirational teacher. I never forgot the discipline he taught all of us young kids, and I will cherish the fact that I was blessed enough to be one of his students.”

Gianna Romano wrote a sympathy message

“Luigi was a really sweet soul. A truly genuine human being. He had compassion and always cared about others. You could always count on him to be there for you. We used to call him "the Philosopher". He was very intelligent and well read. He always had a theory or opinion about things, and he was usually correct. He was a lot of fun to talk to and just visit with. Unfortunately, there is never enough time. We will never forget him. Love: Ernie, Linda, Marcus, & Gianna Romano”

“Linda, Tony, Jen & girls, and Gianna - we hope you are able to find peace and comfort in the fact that Lou is no longer burdened with his earthly limitations. He is now freely walking with his Lord, and family. We will never forget that amazing dinner at your house, Linda’s birthday celebration at Abrusci’s, and our trip to Dallas. When we think of Lou, it will always be of his deep and hearty laugh, and love for his family. Much love - Bill & Laura DeMoulin”
