He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Newton and Eva Mae Newton. He is survived by: his wife Lavone Newton (Martin); his children, Darrell E. Newton and Pam Story (Kirt Story); his grandchildren, Shaundra Slade (Jesse Slade), Stephanie Travis and Shane Story; his great grandchildren, Derek Slade, Aidan Travis, Waylon Travis and Reagan Story; and his siblings, Rhonda Brown (Larry), Steve Newton (Linda), Vicky Brickell (Terry), Terry Newton and Rick Newton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Foothills Baptist Church (4000 W 22nd St, Loveland, CO 80538).
