He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Herbel and Mollie Herbel (Schneider). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Dahl; his children, Brian Herbel of Lincoln and Rhonda Herbel Linser of Littleton; his grandchildren, Benjamin Herbel, Elijah Herbel, Kaylynn Linser and Lillianne Herbel; his son-in-law John Linser; and his brothers, Melvin Herbel, Donald Herbel and James Herbel.
