He is survived by: his child Eric; his wife Lora Hawkins (Mick); his children, Megan, Hillary, Shelby and Garett; his parents, Edwin Hawkins and Harriet Hawkins of Elizabeth; and his brother Gregg Hawkins of Garland. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

The family is asking for donations to the "Eric 'The Hawk' Hawkins Scholarship" in lieu of flowers.
