He is survived by: his friend Simla; his wife Margaret Opal Knutson; his grandchildren, Natalie Koonce (Jamie), Nathan Rains (Chanda), Kendra Bandt, Amanda Union, Staci Swanson (Matt), Kristi Carmack (Garrett), Tyson Hamacher (Melissa), Kelsie Rone (Bryce) and Makenzie Jolly; and his great grandchildren, Alli Koonce, Wesley, Colton Rains, Ender, Gideon Lubchenco, Kaeden Johnson, Tavien Melvin, Quinn, Logan Swanson, Cortland, Landon, Hadley Carmack, Aubrey, Alison, Lilly, Wyatt, T. W. Hamacher and Kyvrie Rone.
