She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lewis and Helene Lewis (Rabinowitz); and her sister Barbara Lewis Lerner. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert Nathan; her sons, Brett Nathan (Jennifer) and Douglas Nathan (Tammy); her grandchildren, Emma, Caroline Nathan, Asher and Noa Nathan; her sister Beverly Lewis of Houston; her siblings-in-law, Nancy and Bob Goldstein of Miami; and her stepmother-in-law Toni Nathan of Aventura, Florida..
In lieu of flowers, tributes to her memory may be made to Sharsheret (http://www.sharsheret.org) in support of the Jewish breast and ovarian cancer community, which has personal ties to her family, friends, and sorority at Tulane.
