With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene M. Seward of Eaton, Colorado, born in Rathbun, Iowa, who passed away on January 5, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ryman McDanel and Ruby McDanel; her husband Roy; her sons, Ronald and Richard; and her siblings, Ione Espy and Wayne McDanel.

She is survived by: her former spouse Glen VanDorin; her children, Judy Mericle (Carson), David VanDorin and George VanDorin (Melanie); and her sister Faye Sharp. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
