He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Lee and Margaret Whitinger; his parent-in-law Bennie Spell; his wife Becky; his children, Charlotte (Brian), Davidson, Ernie Spell, Leslie (Justin), Miller and Darren (Molly); his brother Jerry; and his nephew Steffen (Charlene). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
