She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Harold and Addie Ethel Mackey (Corn); and her sisters, Edie, Shirley and Dorothy.

She is survived by: her husband Dr. Michael D. Kirk; her daughters, Donna Clifford (David) and Faye Fanning (James); her grandchildren, Kyle Fanning, Kevin Clifford (Tay), Kayla Hammer (Michael) and Dustin Clifford; her great grandchildren, Kyler, Kayson, Keaton and Mia; and her brother Raymond Mackey (Vickki). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
