He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Owens and Agnes Owens; his siblings, Bill Owens, Bob Owens and Dorothy Hart (Owens); and his grandson James Bradley Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Owens; his children, Brad, Deborah Owens of McClave, CO, John, Sebrina Reed of Wiley, CO, Max Jr. and Charlotte Owens of Monument, CO.; and his siblings, Dr. Richard T. Owens (Verlee) of Souix City, IA., Harriett Brown of Eads, CO., Tom and Doris Owens of Sparks, NE.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions should be made to the First Christian Church in Eads.
