He was predeceased by: his parents, Lesley McKay and Ivy May Sanders (Wedekinds); his wife Joyce Sanders; his son Keith; his daughters-in-law, Ellen Sanders and Jeany Sanders; his granddaughters, Lorretta Mata, Cindy Aldrich and Robyn Jimenez; and his siblings, Neva Welty, Les, Harold, Ivan, Frank Sanders and Ruby E. Cheney.
He is survived by: his children, Sylvia LaCost (David) of Lamar and Alan Sanders of Wiley. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Weisbrod Memorial Nursing Home in Eads, Colorado either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
