She is survived by: her children, Fidel Velasquez (Rhiannon), Jillian Velasquez and Laura Herrera-Atencio (Jose); her grandchildren, Phillip, Dairian, Riley, Joshua, Lazarus, McKenzie, Sage, Easton, Andres, Jay-Jay and Lyric; her great-uncle Fidel Velasquez; and her friends, Mariah Thompson and Joe Herrera. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
