She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Waina and Florence Waina; and her husband Don Southworth. She is survived by: her stepson Roger Southworth of Durango, CO.; her son Scott (Robin) of Durango, CO.; and her grandchildren, Ben, Ellen, Lydia and Sam of Durango.

Memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church or the La Plata County Humane Society.
