He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Machelle McWhirter; his children, Matt McWhirter (Victoria), Jennifer McWhirter (Seth Kelly) and Madison McWhirter (Tanner Reidy); his stepchildren, DJ Morris and Damian Morris; his parents, Richard McWhirter and Barbara Hintz McWhirter; his brothers, Jeff McWhirter (MaryAnn), Mike McWhirter (Judi) and Steve McWhirter; and his former wife Karen McWhirter.
