He is survived by: his children, Lori Ann Sandoval and Rio Valdez; his siblings, Ernie Valdez, Mabel Wallace, Lilia Nix, Bernice Avellino and Susan Diaz; his grandchildren, Brody, Anna, Shaleen and Francisco; his great grandchildren, Julian and Naryah; and his nieces and nephews, Terresa, Billy, Todd, Gypsy and Sandra.
