It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Stern (Durango, Colorado), born in Spokane, Washington, who passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Erik David Stern; her parents, William Peter Mikkelsen and Margaret Kessel Mikkelsen; and her sister Christine Mikkelsen Chasey. She is survived by: her husband Mark E; her children, Spencer William Roper (Erin Cummins Roper), Brandon Jacob Stern, Kimberly Ann Stern and Lindsay Amber Stern; her grandchildren, Madeline, Nolan and Korah Roper; and her sister Karen Mikkelsen.
