He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Snowberger and Raymond Snowberger; and his siblings, Eileen, Grace, Raymond, Richard and Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Young; his stepchildren, David Snowberger of Hollywood, FL, Diane Goodman of Evans, GA, Donna Hancock of Martinez, GA and Daniel Snowberger of Durango, CO; his grandchildren, Steven Hancock, Patricia Phelps, Shannon Hancock, Kathryn Snowberger, Amanda Snowberger, Ryan Goodman, Jennifer Snowberger, Jessica Snowberger and Joshua Snowberger; and his great grandchildren, Kyla Phelps, Aricella Becerra, Austin Hancock, Avery Hancock, Kiersten Phelps and Nicolas Phelps.
The family requests donations be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Mercy in Durango located at 175 Mercado Street, Suite 131, Durango, CO 81301.
