We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2021, at the age of 88, Gwendolyn Adcock (Durango, Colorado), born in Ashdown, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ivy Phillips and Effie Phillips; her husband David Adcock; her daughter Mary Duggins; her grandson Collin Van Winkle; her children, Debbie Van Winkle (Lee) of Durango, Colorado and Kenneth Adcock (Kim) of Katy, Texas; her son-in-law Dennis Duggins of Bernalillo; her brother John Crawford (Kathryn); her grandchildren, Stacey Rhodes (Tony), Christopher Duggins (Jeanne), Brett Van Winkle (Ekin) and Bailey Hundley (Clay); and her great grandchildren, Faith, Mia Martin, Bryce, Bristol Duggins, Lila, Soren Van Winkle, Ellison and Baker Hundley. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Gwen's family is grateful to the many good people at that facility who helped Gwen and other residents cope with the isolation and loneliness the residents experienced as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
