It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Earnest Mang Jr. of Durango, Colorado, born in La Jara, Colorado, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Earnest Mang Sr. and Trella Mang (Little); and his sister Esther Bates. He is survived by: his former wife Mildred Petrie; his wife Mildred "Midge" Mang; his brothers-in-law, Jake Garrett of Fowler, CO. and Jerry Fugere of Ruidoso, NM; his close friends, Jan, Kindred of New Mexico and Sonia Hammond of Durango, CO.; his niece Karen Medlin; and his nephew Fred Bates.
