He is survived by: his wife Valerie Greer Hobson; his sons, Dean Hobson (Tamara) of Mercer Island, WA. and Alex Hobson (Yuko) of Tokyo, Japan; his grandchildren, Keeley, Kaitlyn, Kieran, Joshua and Misia; his siblings, Sherry Hobson, Clare Benson and David Hobson; and also Ed Mullaney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
