She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Alcario and Jennie Vigil; her husband Victor B. Atencio; and her siblings, Rose Werito (John), Alivamah and Margarita Vigil.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas V. (Connie) and Robert W. Atencio (Brenda); her siblings, Dorothy Martinez (Willie), Dora Merhing (Merle), Joe Vigil (Cora), Shirley Shipp (Tiny), Betty Box (Eddie), Pete Vigil (Marlene), Paul Vigil (Julie), Stella Cox (Stan) and Stephanie Monte (Victor); and her grandchildren, Tammy Atencio (David Gonzales), Jacob Atencio, Patricio Atencio (Brynn), Bobby Atencio, Nick Atencio (Holly), Josh Atencio, Erica Deleon (Tomas) and Dominic Atencio. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
