She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jack B. Gardner and Reola Gardner (Sharp); her husband James B. Bowra; her daughter Carolyn Bowra of Durango; and her grandchildren, William Garroutte (Jessie) and Jacquelynn Garroutte.
Memorial contributions may be made to the La Plata County Historical Society (Animas Museum) or the Fort Lewis College Foundation's 'Hesperus Campus Girls Plus One Scholarship'.
