She was predeceased by: her mother Violet Stacey; her son Jim Schaffert; her father Edgar Thomas Stacey; her brothers, Sid and Chuck Stacey; her nephew Tom Stacey; and her aunts, Hildur Dye and Hodie Nordlund.
She is survived by: her former spouse Ensign Richard Schaffert; her children, Richard Schaffert (Barb), Mike Stacey and Stacey Street (Jim); her siblings, Heather Ware (Keith) and Mike Stacey (Kaye); her grandchildren, Mike Street (Sara), Kate Stacey (Brian) and Ben Stacey; her great grandchildren, Arthur, Elliot Way-Stacey and Brianna Malinao Stacey; her nieces and nephews, Mark, Eric (Jeff Stacey), Graham (Kip Ware), Charlie Stacey, Heidi Porter (Ryan), Steff Runquist (Eric) and Kristina Fisk (Alex); and her sister-in-law Judy Stacey. She is also survived by best friend.
Due to the pandemic, trips to family over the months had to be cancelled, but granddaughter Kate Stacey's love for her grandma got her and baby Elliot on a plane and Charlotte was able to see her great grandson, Elliot, for the first time in person, four days before she passed.
