It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvette Marie Maestas in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Yvette Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Yvette Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Vigil; and her stepfather Danny Garcia. She is survived by: her mother Jeanie Garcia; her sons, Luis Arreola and Jerald Maestas; her granddaughter Jordan Arreola; and her siblings, Danette Vigil (Melissa), Alex Maestas (Angelica), Christopher Vigil (Alexandria), Robert Lee Vigil (Chrystal) and Zackary Vigil (Trinh). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and her godson.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crossing Church of the Nazarene (3501 W 104th Ave, Westminster, CO 80031). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
