In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Susan Lea leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Susan Lea may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Schmitt and Beatrice Schmitt. She is survived by: her husband John Wiegand; her children, Colin O'Connor (Becca Berline), Kelsey O'Connor and Kirsten Wiegand (Alex Walker); her grandchildren, Brighton O'Connor, Coralie O'Connor, Ginger O'Connor and Elke O'Connor; and her siblings, Peter, Paul Schmitt and Jeanne Peterson.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236).
