With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan J Cook (Denver, Colorado), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Samuel Elgart and Sally Glueck Elgart; her adoptive father Dr. Abe Brown; her husband Julian Cook; her children, Alan, Steven and Emily; her former spouses, Rabbi Jody Riches Cook and Shira Rudavsky; and her grandchildren, Gabe, Leo, Sally, Orli, Eva, Danny and Eden Cook.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 51 Grape St, Denver, CO 80220. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Emanuel Cemetery.
