She was predeceased by: her parents, Addie Mae and Doctor Simmons; and her siblings, Tommy Simmons, Ruth Flournoy, Dennis Simmons, Roland Simmons (Skillet), Roxie Tisby and Lovey Joy Spikes (Chicken).
She is survived by: her brother Robert Simmons; and her children, Devera Lynn Wilkins and Steven Rhys Wilkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and numerous younger family members.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (190 Potomac St, Aurora, CO 80011). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
