It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharlene Denise Theard (Denver, Colorado), who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Sharlene Denise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharlene Denise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney Noel Theard; and her sister Estell Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Shepard and Zarack Shepard; her grandsons, Anthony Shepard and Donovan Shepard; and her sisters, Louise Smith and Margret Nash. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Olinger Hampden Mortuary (8600 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231). A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
