He was predeceased by: his parents, Viggo and Sylvia; and his stepson Charles. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Steven, Sherrin and Sue Ann (John); his stepson John (Laura); and his grandchildren, Alexandria (Kyle), Tori, Sydney, Carissa, Conner and Walker.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235). A reception will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (901 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80226).
