He was predeceased by: his sisters, Ellen Klos, Edith Sargent (Dee Dee) and Woods. He is survived by: his father Townsend; his wife Lelda Dickey Hills (Teddy); his children, Scott Townsend Hills and Julia Hills Mckenzie (Jill); and his sibling Susan Coursey (Hills) of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
The family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to the March of Dimes and St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
