She was predeceased by: her parents, Nate Saferstein and Adele Pitluck Saferstein. She is survived by: her husband Jay Newman; her sons, Adam and Noah Newman; her granddaughters, Jackie and Nina Newman; her sister Lynne Glasgow (Steve) of Charlotte, NC.; and also Michael of Encino, CA..
