He is survived by: his mother Rosalie Tafoya; his wife Donna Tafoya; his children, Dominic Tafoya (Lucero), Mikala Tafoya, Aubree Tafoya, Aranza Esquibel-Ortega (Mike) and Justin Madrid (Shontae); his brother Manuel Tafoya (Donna); and his grandchildren, Vida, Trinity, Maseio, Max, Aspen, Gionni, Jaedon, Selena and Seilah.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:20 PM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (1843 W 52nd Ave, Denver, CO 80221). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236).
