He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Irene, Ken Schmitz of Salina, KS and Thomas Wilson of Abilene, KS; and his uncles, Ron, Galen Schmitz and Jeff Wilson of Abilene, KS..
He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Schmitz and Chadra Schmitz (Wilson) of Abilene; his sons, Parker Hsieh Schmitz and Owen Hsieh Schmitz of Littleton, CO; his wife Suzie Hsieh; his grandmother Phyllis Wilson of Abilene, KS; his sister Jessica (Brian) of Olathe, KS; his nieces, Savannah, Hazel and Ruth; his brother Jeremiah of Abilene, KS; and his nieces, Hannah and Madelin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home (414 NW 3rd St, Abilene, KS 67410). A rosary will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church (311 S Buckeye Ave, Abilene, KS 67410). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Mt. St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
