He was predeceased by: his brother David Higginson. He is survived by: his wife Leta Winters Higginson; his children, Delane C. Higginson of Denver, Penny Stice (Mike) of Grand Junction and Laura Davis (John); and his siblings, Jimmy Higginson, Joyce Parmiter, Marilyn Searcy (Jim) and Carol Childress (Mike). He is also survived by seven grandsons; one granddaughter.
