Lawrence Paul Covillo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Paul Covillo of Denver, Colorado, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Henry Covillo Jr. and Bernie Covillo; his sister-in-law Barbara Covillo; and his parents, Henry Covillo Sr. and Mary Covillo (Rossi).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Hertz (Jim) of Brighton Co, Diane Heronema (Anthony) of Berthoud Co and Karen Slye (Steve) of Aurora Co; his grandchildren, Jake Hertz (Karen), Lindsay Hertz (Zak), Matt Morgan, Joey Covillo, Angela Snyder (Dane), Alisa Heronema (Nicole), Jennifer Panariso (Ryan) and John Slye; and his great grandchildren, Kate, Kara Hertz, Harper, Scarlett, Maverick Snyder and Wesley Blanton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Denver Mortuary Chapel (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). Center, and continued participating faithfully, even through the pandemic, when the group moved to Zoom.
