As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kathleen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Linda Sanchez and John Valdez; her stepfather Al Valesquez; her siblings, Ronnie Valesquez (late Linda), Gary Valesquez (Theresa), Chris Valesquez and Louise Daily (late John); her daughter Shannon Jergenson; her granddaughter Anya Burk (Jesse); and her great grandchild Akasha Smith.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Services and Cremation (9998 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elks Northglenn Lodge #2438 (10969 Irma Dr, Northglenn, CO 80233). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236).
