She was predeceased by: her parents, James S. "Jim" Cartwright and Betty Cartwright; her former husband Richard "Rick" Ross; her husband Walter Craig Ballard; and her sister Elaine Schmetterer.
She is survived by: her brother Stephen Cartwright (Patricia) of Littleton, CO; and her children, Celeste Tell of Lexington, SC, Cassandra Ballard of Glenwood Springs, CO, Aeron Ross (Jennifer) of Fort Morgan and Michael Ballard of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.
