It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph James McMahon in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita McMahon and Peter Vincent "Vince" McMahon. He is survived by: his wife Leanne Witherspoon McMahon; his brother Peter McMahon Jr. (Jen); his brothers-in-law, Jay Witherspoon (Terry), Paul Witherspoon (Ann) and Todd Witherspoon (Yishow); his nephew Grant Witherspoon; his nieces, McKenna and Landry Witherspoon; and his extended family England.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends who would like to honor Joe could make a donation in his name to any of the organizations close to Joe's heart: the Denver Dumb Friends League, Food Bank of the Rockies, or Mountain Pet Rescue. Another option is to make a donation to Leanne to go to a fund for a commemorative bench plaque for Joe at Denver City Park near the Pavilion where Joe and Leanne were married.
